Tie your vintage wedding look together, from the invites to décor and everything in between. Unique wedding favors are a fun way to add that vintage touch and a little DIY, too! Start with vintage candies: candy sticks, salt water taffy, wax bottles, candy buttons, etc. Many of these are available in your wedding colors and you can buy online in bulk.
2. A Classic Country Favor
Insert cellophane bags into mason jar drinking glasses. Fill the bags with candy, tie with ribbon and add a cute favor label to the front of the mason jar.
3. Vintage Floral Treat Boxes
Here we filled our small white treat boxes with salt water taffy and embellished with layered floral accents. Crocheted flowers were layered with paper flowers and finished off with colorful buttons. We used glue dots to attach them to the favor boxes. These add-ons would also make pretty corsages for your wedding party or special attendants.
4. Double Duty Centerpiece
For a centerpiece that doubles as a favor, line mint julep silver cups with a vintage hanky and insert rock candy and candy sticks. Tie favor tags to each piece of candy with satin ribbon for simply sweet favors.
5. The Grab Bag
Here’s a fun candy website you should definitely check! Candy.com. Not only is there a plethora of candy to choose from, they’ve also got a great Q&A blog post with Amy Atlas about candy buffets, and they have a super fun video on how salt water taffy is made, just in case you’re curious!
