Geometric shapes and patterns are taking the world of weddings by storm. They’re modern, fresh and can be translated to fit any number of different wedding themes and styles. The look we’re highlighting today is a modern one, using geometric lines to create the illusion of gemstone facets.

Rock Inspo
Take a look at your left hand. See that rock you’re sporting? That’s where the inspiration for this look started. There’s hardly anything more mesmerizing than your engagement ring catching light, right? And what makes it possible is all those tins facets. Now, take that geometric element, enlarge it and think of all the ways you could use it on your wedding day. We love the 3D triangular shapes suspending from the ceiling. They create such a statement and would also be an easy and affordable DIY. Use similar patterns in your centerpieces and cake. Even beaded elements on your dress and your bridesmaids dresses can get in on the fun.

Soft Hues
Think color palette. You could go dark and moody with this look – think, art deco. Or, you could do bright and colorful – think fiesta-inspired. However, if you want to keep things all glowy and romantic, we suggest sticking with soft pastels. Our style board features a shade of blush paired with hunter green (who doesn’t love an unexpected twist?!) but you could also choose a light shade of lavender or mint. Dress your bridesmaids in a similar hue, and sprinkle it in the details like linens and florals to bring your look together.

Glowing Gold
Ahhh, gold. What’s not to love? It takes any look from “eh” to “ermahgerd” in no time flat. But wait. Isn’t gold expensive? Think again! Our featured Modern Chic Wedding Invitation uses faux gold foil instead of the real deal. It looks expensive but we promise this gorgeous invitation is a fraction the price of real gold foil invitations. Oh and also, an rsvp postcard comes with it for free! As for all those other wedding-day details, we have a secret: gold spray paint. This stuff is magic! It leaves everything from thrift store finds to raw wood DIYs with a golden glow that looks crazy-expensive but costs just a few dollars to create. Our last recommendation is to add personalized napkins to your bar. Our mood board features the Signature Drink Cocktail Napkin in gold foil stamping. Add your recipe for your favorite cocktail for a personalized detail every guest will love!
