Go for Gold<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Gold is incredibly popular which makes it easy to find the perfect gold touches to make your wedding really stand out. The Sweet Romance Invitation<\/a> introducing this look is a great example of getting the rich look you love without paying a fortune. Follow the gold theme from the invitation all the way through the reception with special touches like the gold glitter place cards and table numbers shown here. Gold-dipped wine bottles used as bud vases is another stunning idea. These DIY projects may take time but they are affordable and make a big impact.<\/p>\n

Light the Night<\/strong><\/h3>\n

White lights are so easy to come by and they will set the perfect atmosphere at your reception. Find them at thrift stores, after Christmas clearance or borrow them from friends and family. Here you\u2019ll see them draped like a canopy over the entire reception venue but you don\u2019t need to do anything that elaborate if you don\u2019t want to. We\u2019ve seen couples wrap trees in white lights, create a backdrop behind the head table or set up an outdoor lounge area with draped lights designating the spot. Throw a few candles on the tables for a dramatic pop and guests will be mesmerized.<\/p>\n

Focus on Details<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Small details leave a big impression. We love the idea of using baby\u2019s breath as your wedding flower because it\u2019s so cheap but they look amazing. Use straight baby\u2019s breath for the bridal party bouquets and the floral arrangements on your reception tables. You will love the elegant look of this affordable filler. Use eye-catching vases like the gold-tone chalice shown here for a glamorous finish. We added custom wedding napkins<\/a> in black with gold foil because they look so classy and they are an incredibly cheap way to dress up your tables.<\/p>\n
