Wedding expenses can really add up, especially a few days before your wedding when vendors want final payments. If you want to have a Rehearsal Dinner (a.k.a. groom’s dinner) with your wedding party and perhaps family members or out-of-town guests, consider a pasta dinner. Pasta is inexpensive, easy to prepare and everyone loves it!

Garlic Bread and Bread Sticks

The Details

We used a traditional red-and-white checkered tablecloth (we actually purchased fabric in that pattern). Instead of red linen napkins, we purchased red bandannas for $1 each! Dress your cloth napkins up with a wrap of ribbon and tie with raffia.

The breadsticks added a great look to our centerpieces, plus they are awesome for guests to munch on if they get hungry before dinner. We also filled clear cases with raw noodles to add some character to the table centerpieces.

What We Ordered

We chose the Climbing Vines wedding invitation in Barn Red from Ann’s Bridal Bargains, and created our own unique wording for the event. We also ordered CUSTOM cocktail napkins from Ann’s. Brightly colored napkins are fun and they were essential in setting the mood for our Italian dinner theme. Did you know you can order custom napkins? Just call the Ann’s customer service team. They’ll be happy to help!

Check back on August 15 for budget centerpiece ideas to coordinate with your Italian rehearsal dinner theme.
