Bridal Shower Theme: I Do BBQ

By Janelle,

December 1, 2020
It’s time to celebrate the bride! We love a non-traditional Bridal Shower and an I Do BBQ is our favorite theme for a casual celebration. Don’t be fooled though – you can still create a looks that’s just the right mix of rustic and elegance.

Start With: An I Do BBQ Invitation

Make sure your guests know about the theme right from the start by sending this totally adorable I Do BBQ bridal shower invitation. The woodgrain background is just rustic enough and the cute engagement ring-detail is a sweet detail. Add you personalized party details, place you order and you’ll have your super-affordable invites in your hands before you know it!

Create Casual Décor

An I Do BBQ Bridal Shower theme should have a country-vibe and simple details. Our favorite rustic bridal shower decorations include:

  • Woodgrain: Use tree trunk rounds for your centerpieces! Not only are they super-cheap, but add just the right rustic touch. Add simple glass votive candles to create an easy table decoration.
  • Baby’s Breath: This cheap-but-chic flower can be found at any grocery store floral shop. The best part is that it take zero design skills to create a sweet little arrangement.
  • Burlap and Lace: This classic combination is just right for this theme! Grab some burlap from your local fabric store. Next, hit up the thrift shop and grab some vintage doilies. Lay down the burlap like a table runner then add a few doilies for a feminine touch. So cute!

And Finally…the Food!

An I Do BBQ is ALL about the food! Instead of serving burgers and steaks, go for barbequed finger food like chicken and veggie kabobs. Chicken wings would also be a huge hit. Round out the meal with classic side dishes like baked beans, mac and cheese and potato salad.
