How Image Quality and Uploads Work
The quality of your final design depends heavily on the quality of the images you upload. Product Editor can help you crop and position an image, but it cannot fully fix a source file that is too small, blurry, or poorly lit.
Best practices for uploads
- Start with the highest-quality file you have.
- Avoid screenshots when an original image file is available.
- Use clear, well-lit photos when the image is a main feature.
- Review the image at normal size and zoomed in.
When to replace an image
- The image looks soft or blurry.
- The crop removes important details.
- The image becomes difficult to fit without heavy editing.
Helpful tip
If an uploaded image does not look right after a quick crop and reposition, replacing it with a stronger source file is usually the best solution.
