How Image Recoloring, Opacity, and Background Cleanup Work
Product Editor may include extra image tools for recoloring, fading, or cleaning up an uploaded file. These tools do not appear on every product or every image area.
When image recoloring is available
- On some artwork or upload areas that support product color changes
- On products that offer more than one approved color option
- Sometimes on envelope or specialty-product artwork, depending on the setup
When opacity is useful
- Softening a background image
- Creating a faded photo effect behind text
- Reducing visual weight so other content stands out more clearly
Helpful tip
Make one cleanup or opacity change at a time. If an image starts to lose clarity, back up and reduce the effect before continuing.
