How to Use Advanced Image Tools
Once an image is placed, Product Editor can offer more than basic crop and rotate controls. Depending on the product, you may also see tools for placement, filling, cleanup, and background handling.
Image tools you may see
- Replace Image
- Position and center controls
- Rotate and Flip
- Fill Canvas, Fill Horizontal, or Fill Vertical
- Opacity
- Remove White Space or Remove Background
- Image recoloring on supported artwork
Best way to work with image tools
- Place the image first.
- Get the crop and overall size right.
- Use fill and position tools only if the image still needs better placement.
- Save cleanup tools for the end so you can judge the full result.
Helpful tip
If you need too many corrections to make an image work, replace it with a stronger source file instead of forcing the edit.
